ED 800 Concepts of Educational Inquiry

Course Description:
This class introduced me to new educational theories and philosophies, and the importance of educational inquiry. Some of the philosophers studied in this course were John Dewey, E.D. Hirsch, and Catherine Bateson. As educators it is important to reflect on what you are teaching, and develop ways to improve your teaching in order to benefit your students. This class helped me learn about different perspectives and strategies for reflection so that I can continuously improve my teaching methods.
